I agree! We spent some long hours on judging fields together; he never lost his cool, was open to anything to get the job accomplished.

I met Robin once in Dixon while he was judging my non original Indian. He took the time out of his busy schedule to look over the bike and educate me on the different years of parts I had. I was disqualified, but I'm still grateful and appreciative of the generousity with his time on a very busy day.

I had a 46 Indian Chief about 20yrs ago that I found and got from the original owners Grandson. I knew nothing about it and researched people of knowlege on these machines and their shop in Etters Pa. was close by so I visited and felt very welcomed by his Father Bob and Robin gave me the tour of their oldies onhand and gave me valuable info to help me out. That 46 Chief ended up being a best running unrestored under the old rules for a few years in my region and those Panheads didn't quiet idle down as smooth as the Flathead did when the spark retard was applied. I wish I had that Motorcycle yet, many people ask about it yet. Kudos to Robin and his Father for their unselfish contribution to our sport. Keep riding them, Merlin in Pa.

Robin has to be one of our greatest assetts in the Indian & Honda world. Born & raised to an Indian shop, and still carrying the flag, Robin is a wealth of knowledge and experience. Plus, he's really a fun charactor. Robin and Kim have greatly enhanced our enjoyment of bike world that has become our lives. I only wish he would write a book on Indians!

When I started with my '48 Chief in the '60s, Sammy Pierce was the main man. Fortunately, we are still blessed with people like the Starks and the Markeys. Now, if Robin would just get a website....
