  • For fans of Motorcyclist Retro magazine

This may not interest the bulk of you guys, but Mitch Boehm's

"Motorcyclist Retro" magazine which got underway this spring, is probably on

the chopping block with the corporate parent company due to the lousy

economy. It's a very nice magazine focusing on 60's-80's Japanese bikes.

If interested in sending an e-mail to the parent company to save the mag,

there's a forum thread at "Motorcyclist" titled "Retro" that gives the e-mail

    details.

    Thanks

i hope they can save the magazine, as i have found it to be very informative! i have both copies, and enjoyed reading them from cover to cover.

Very tough market for all magazines, and even more so for small niche ones like this. I wonder if there is enough demand here in the US for a high quality print magazine about classic motorcycles.

In Europe - yes, but here - I don't know. No one has ever been able to publish one profitably here in the US.

Good luck to them but they are facing long odds.
