I scanned this Excelsior Bulletin in between making a sandwich for lunch. The time consuming part was uploading the images to photobucket. This bulletin cost me a lot of money but like many of us "cry babies" I am more than happy to share it with fellow club members because it is a beautiful piece of literature and should be available to everyone.

That is a beauty. Thanks for sharing it. Those girls are actually kinda risque for the day, aren't they. Looks like dem bikers was bad boys even back then.

One of the things I love about old motorcycles is all of the historical things that happened around them. History takes on a lot more importance when you can relate it to a year of a motorcycle. 1918 was the year my Father was born, 1933 was the end of prohibition, and 1948 was the beginning of the State of Israel. You can see how morality changed in the fashions of the girls in those pictures, and yet the Excelsior company had a bowling league like companies today. Ultimately, it's always about people, but for me it's always about people and motorcycles.
