  • HELP Info Needed On Lloyd Washburn

Thanks to all for the leads and information on the 1924 dual-carb Indian hillclimber I was told belonged to Paul Pearce.

I am now following a lead that prior to being Paul's the bike might have belonged to Lloyd Washburn, who I believe worked for a number of Indian dealerships over the years and was an accomplished racer himself.

All info, photos and leads on Lloyd Washburn would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Buzz,
You will find Lloyd Washburn listed in the club roster. At least he is in my 2006 edition.

I understand he was an active Indian enthusiast, but believe he might have passed.

Anyone know anything more about Lloyd or his dual-carb 1924 Indian hillclimber? I've done a little research on him and apparently 2 of his greatest passions were Indian motorcycles and small airplanes.

Wow Buzz...cruising the AMCA Forum for stuff on Indian Sidecars (which I've now got that's running & rolling) and I found your note asking about the late, great Lloyd Washburn! He was my Indian flat tracker mentor and "second Dad" till he passed. I've still got, but am in the process of selling, my racer that he built. Larry Barnes
