Cory,
Hope my chiming in doesn't offend Jurassic. He did bring his fantastic Indian Twin to run at Barber. All was well in the pit area until Barber was forced to advance the start of the race by almost an hour, giving 10 minutes notice. Losing this prep time prevented the Indian Twin from participation in the race. Jurassic, being the gentleman that he is, took it in stride and enjoyed the event. It was my first opportunity to meet Jurassic, and i was impressed by his "character" under unfortunate circumstances.Johnny Whitsett

That's a long way to travel, just to have the race moved an hour in the wrong direction.Rick Morsher, aka Earl

Century Race
One small correction - Jerry Ottaway's Reading Standard is a 1908 model,
(Not 1906 as I mistakenly typed)
Thanks Again

Howdy Chaps,
Allrighty then, how bout some pics? The very last is a classic and the look I'll always remember on Dale, my choice for the scrappiest dog you'd ever want to bring to any dust up.
If you're one of the combatants and would like these uncropped and pixel compressed, hit my site below, the feedback button and reference the pic, ie, century 3, century 7, etc..Last edited by PRG; 10-24-2008, 04:51 PM.

Noticed the distinct lack of a rifle-shot sounding exhaust note this year....hmmm, he musta dialed back the nitro content to only 90%.Attached FilesLast edited by PRG; 10-24-2008, 04:52 PM.
