Hey Carl you have an awesome kid, I was impressed when he handed over that trophy. I don't know you but if your son is a chip off of the old block, you are a fine man. Yes, it is all about riding. I hammer the miles on my servicar. It is my transportation to work when I can. It speaks volumes about my thoughts on the hobby. Ride often and enjoy them, then they can be seen more on the roads. After reading all this....
I just have to comment.
Although I am in Germany and cant make it to some of these meets. I will make them again after first going to the AMCA Meet in Dinkelsbuhl.
I think that this hobbie is about having fun, enjoying-riding-repairing-keeping old motorcycles running. And not keeping them hidden in an old musueam.
