Ben buzzed me about up coming auction. See lots 1000-1009. Dec 2. You can bid online or via telephone.
Dear Enthusiast,
As you may be aware, Bonhams Auctioneers are offering a fine selection of
motorcycles at our forthcoming auction at Olympia, London, 2 December 2002, a number of which I thought would be of interest to your members.
Highlights include a circa 1915 Indian 1,000cc racing motorcycle, engine
number 03, a circa 1910 Pierce 7hp Four, and an almost complete but
dismantled 1937 Brough Superior 11-50 Combination, untouched for nearly 30 years.
The best way to access catalogue is via www.bonhams.com, selecting
'Auctions' and then 'catalogues'. You will be able to select the 2nd
December 'Motorcars, Motorcycles and Automobilia...' from the list, the
motorcycle lots being 1000 - 1009. There are a number of very tasty American
bikes, the descriptions for which can be selected together with an image of
the bike. You could try clicking http://www.bonhams.com/asp/auctions.asp
which should take you direct to the Auction search page.
