I started riding in 1970 on a '67 Honda CL160. At that time a CB/CL 450 Honda was my DREAM machine. I actually went down to the Honda dealer with a fistful of dollars and tried to buy one, but he raised the price on me! So I ended up instead with an old Harley FL and (like Uke would have put it) changed the course of history!

I recall reading that the "black bomber" was the last bike that Sochiro Honda himself had a hand in designing. I also recall the first time I saw those cool torsion bar valve springs and being very impressed. A great bike for sure.
