  • Powerplus Book (Calling Jerry!)

Hey Jerry, any chance of an Indian Powerplus book?
I can't believe how little information is out there on these machines.
I'm a bit of a Hatfield groupie, and have all your relevant publications. Surely the Powerplus was such a major bike in the Indian line that it could support a book.
(Full recognition of the effort involved in research /writing /publication and turning a profit!)

    Best wishes Jerry.

    Hey Ken,

Check out George Yarocki's site. He's got a ton of info on just about anything. Jerry does write a good book though don't he?

      Powerplus Book (I wish!)

      Hi Cory.
I gave up on trying to buy manuals etc from George as it seemed all to difficult for him on the phone.
I'm in Australia, and called him in the US.
His web site was very user unfriendly, and his phone response wasn't much better. By the way, this isn't a complaint re George, just a bad foreign purchase attempt experience. It was at least 3 or 4 years ago. Things may be a lot better now.

      Best wishes mate.

      Ken.

Thanks for the kind words about my books. Unfortunately, I don't think there's enough interest in Powerplus and F-head Indians to produce a profit-making book or books. To do a book comparable to the Scout, Chief, and Four books, takes 750 to 1,000 hours, plus considerable travel. I spent at least a year and a half on each of these books. Shooting with film is now becoming a problem, but to buy a commercial quality digital camera takes some serious money. Finally, I'm too busy marketing "Flat Out! The Rollie Free Story" to undertake any new book project. But I do appreciate the feedback.

          Buggar!

          Thanks for the reply Jerry.
Thought as much, but we live in hope!
          Best wishes.
