Gene Aucott ( the North American importer of Vins) told me he travelled around the US with P.C.V. ( Phillip Vincent) circa 1948 and when they toured the Harley factory he was "aghast" to see to heat trapping rocker covers on the new model amongst other things. Speaking of storage sale finds beat this . Moon Mullins, RL's buddy ( South Carolina) bought an all original big tank Crocker ( the complete bike!) at a storage sale in Florida about 15 years ago.
