Not any more they won't. According to the board minutes (y'all read them don't ya?) published in the new issue, the Fall 2007 issue was to be the last sold via newsstand. I note the front cover of the new issue no longer has a bar code nor pricing on it ... Perry

Still no magazine here in GA. It seems that the problem of non delivery rotates around to different parts of the country. I see where two members already have theirs in Canada, there postal system must be better than ours? This non delivery issue seems to always come up with every issue of the mag, but brought up by different members. And how about the topic of doing a study on the bulk rate versus first class mailing. How much more would it cost versus how much interest we make on our investments? I'm glad the mag is no longer on the news stand, at least the general public will have to read it on the internet now, like I just did, not to mention the lack of the classified ads. I guess until the right people have to read the mag off the internet, nothing will happen.

recieved his LAST Friday?

Like Charlie wrote a year ago, the AMCA Magazine
is the main benefit for 90% of our members.

With the amount of cash, AMCA has in
the bank, there is no reason the magazines
cannot be sent First Class.

The individual member is the most important part
of AMCA and the AMCA magazine is what we look
forward to most.

Not here in NJ either. It seems that in my area any "bulk rate" mail sits for a long time before it's delivered. First class would be the way to go.

I got my mag at noon today 27:th.
I thing thats pretty fast for getting it to Finland Europe.

not to get off topic but the vintage chevy club I belong to just went to 1st class due to the USPS dropping the periodical mailing price to foreign countries - they have 12 issues and my dues raised $20.00 per year ( from $40.00 to $60.00 ). the american's can get it sent 1st class as well for about $10.00 per year more.

as for time savings I found that for the last 5 issue's I got it 5-7 days earlier than previous ( usually the 18th - 20th of the month )

In my mind the 5 -7 days faster is not worth $20.00 per year but I have no choice in the matter.
