    Woodstock swap meet

    Hi. I am trying to get some information on the Woodstock swapmeet. I have been told it is about two weeks after Davenport. Does anyone have the organisers contact details on file and I would like to know how it rates as a Harley parts swap. Also would like to see if there is another swapmeet within a 2 0r 3 week time frame either side of the Davenport date.

    Are you talking about Woodstock, Illinois?

    I heard that they moved it to Rockford, Illinois, altho I'm not 100% positive as I don't live down there anymore.

    When I went to Woodstock -- the last time a few years ago -- I thought it was a good Harley parts swapmeet. There were a lot of H-D dealers in that region and lots of older parts still around.

        If the Woodstock swap in Illinois has changed time slots...can anyone suggest any other swap meets or trade shows that are well frequented by perveyors of old things UL Knuckle and Pan?
        I am looking for swaps or shows in a time frame of about 3 weeks either side of the Davenport date Aug31-Sept2.

          I just typed Woodstock motor cycle swap meet into the web and it gave me the following info: WOODSTOCK H.D.- Openhouse. IL
          8th of September. 2007.
          Looks like it may still be on in Sept. Maybe they have a couple of meetings a year.
          I will try to find the Woodstock site again to see if I can get some contact details. I would still appreciate any recomendations on other swaps.

            The Woodstock show and swapmeet moved two years ago to the Boone County Fairgrounds in Belvidere, IL.
            The date this year is on Sunday, Sept. 23.
            This show and swap has been going on since the early 70's.
            The Woodstock swap this past weekend was a Walneck's swap, not the same group.
            The Fall show is put on by the Midwest Antique & Classic Motorcycle Club.
