Hard to believe he lasted as long as he did; such a talented, troubled life. Even harder to believe the same guy could record some of the stuff he did, and still pull off something as emotional as Mona Lisa Lost Her Smile. R.I.P.

Played a lot of his stuff with the band I was in back in the day. Some of it I ain't too proud of.

Very Good DAC eulogy Clark! I managed to see Coe perform a few times at Sturgis & Daytona Bike Weeks. Always jam packed and a good time! David went through the wringer many times, but for the most part, it seemed he always came out smelling like a rose~Haha. For a NY minute, I thought about posting his hilarious greatest X-rated gems, but I don’t think it would go over to well on the AMCA Forum!!! An American Treasure and a remarkable musical talent. He’ll be missed by many.

*Rest Easy and God Speed on a Panhead Mr. Coe.

Russell Land <----Excellent David Allan Coe Interview.
