BS is not true. Vaughs did not build anything. He MAY have has something to do with very early stages of procuring the old cop bikes that became the choppers or in some early discussions on the bikes design . But that Article by d’Orleans is fake news. All Paul did was accept Vaughs talk. And since everyone around back then is now dead , who can correct the record. Well there are people whom do know. Black bike builder Sugar Bear whom was a big part of the original culture has spoken out on this much closer to the truth .
think of it this way , where are all of Vaughs other builds? You believe a guy whom built such a famous Capt America Never built any other bikes?
Vaughs was fired by Fonda.
not to mention despite what Dan haggerty claimed .the original bikes burned up in the crash sequence of the movie and the back up bikes were stolen . So you got a great picture of a fraud sitting on a fake.

my opinion is he was trying to sympathize with Vaughn like he was little Richard and Pat Boone got the limelight covering Richard’s music.
