  • Sad News Moen Indian Part Europe

Just learned today that Moen passed away unexpectedly last month from a heart attack
In addition to running Indian Parts Europe (IPE) he was founder and moderator of VirtualIndian.org
    He will be missed.

This is sad news. My condolences to his family and friends who knew him. I’ve enjoyed the Virtual Indian website and always tried to learn something from his writings and generous sharing of Indian motorcycle knowledge. Godspeed, Moen.

Indeed that is sad news. Moen embodied the true spirit of being an enthusiast for our hobby. He likely imparted as much, or more, knowledge on restoring, repairing, or maintaining old Indians than he ever made money from by selling parts. He helped me and he will be missed.

Had a tremendous respect for his vast contributions to the Virtual Indian page. A sad year for Indian and the deepest regard for Moen, his family, friends, and many followers.

Many Moons ago, I purchased a 1953 Roadmaster Chief, at an auction that was originally a NY State Police Unit. The Chief had all the police requirements stripped off. God Bless Toney Watson(*R.i.P.), he helped me out considerably, and Toney turned me on to Moen. I had numerous conversations with Moen to the point of me calling Moen to just shoot the sh-t. Moen was always patient, knowledgable & kind. He might have been a one man Indian Army, but it will take many to replace him.

He’ll be missed dearly. Prayers and remembrances to Moen & his family and friends.
