  • Looking for a member

Can someone tell me how I can access the vendor spots at Wauseon? I can't figure it out of the AMCA site. Looking for a seller that I've bought from over the years, I know his first name and where he sets up, but not his last name or contact info. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe the contact info isn't allowed to be public knowledge, but if I can get the last name maybe he is in our rooster. I know he's from OH. Thanks.

Hi Bob, here's the crummy map from the AMCA. You can click on it, and then use a magnifying shot glass to see the numbers~haha. I would call Mary Wheat... aka 'Punky'. I'm sure she'd help You out. She might even send a better view of the vendor map via email, and release the vendor's last name? You can always use Google Earth to aerial view *Fulton County Fair Grounds, as a last ditch effort.
*Hope this helps You~Good Luck Bob.

Thanks Lee, I appreciate the info. I called her and left a message, no return call. I'll try and email her. I understand and appreciate not broadcasting members identity, just frustrating when I'm trying something legit. I would have thought vendors names at a national meet would be no secret. I've transacted with him for probably 8 years, even the local meet in Springfield OH, just don't know his last name. The last AMCA rooster I have where it lists members by state is 2008, I'll try there. Anyway, thanks.

Like Bob, I preferred the rosters that categorized by State, and not alphabetically listed names (useless if you only know someone by Joe, or Bill). Often when you talk with someone at a meet you pick-up where they live which is more of a clue if you're trying find them in a roster.

Hi Scott, I remember meeting you at Springfield and Oregonia hill climb in 2023. His name is also Scott, I think spot 201 at Wauseon or close. He lives around Cleveland area. Long time member, maybe low to mid 60's in age, clean cut, real nice guy. At Springfield, but he hasn't set up there is 3-4 years, he was always outside usually along the back road. Thanks.

A few instances at the Wauseon meet, i've asked AMCA gate worker members where a vendor might be located. They asked me for a name, and then gave me the vendor number spot location from their vendor chart. I don't why there would be an issue to track down a fellow AMCA member, if your credentials were given over the phone.

Thanks Scott, that's not him, I know Jim pretty well. Earlier this year at Springfield you were talking to him while I was there. Appreciate it though.
