      I never knew you Roger,

But you earned prayers from this community,

      and others I'm certain.

A kind man, Roger helped me with with a couple of my restorations. He will be missed.

I wish I would have told him..'.takes one to know one'. R.I.P.

What C2K said.... Roger Long was a kind man, an Indian man, a 101 Scout owner, and a fellow early 101 Association member. He supplied me with two of his well made accessory rear fender racks, and always had a friendly greeting at the times I saw him at AMCA Meets and Road Runs over the years (the best thing I got from Roger.) His Fire Patrol 101 Scout was outstanding.
            May he rest in peace.

Indeed, Roger was a fine man. I too have a few of his horns and luggage racks, they're great pieces! Roger was always friendly to talk with and helpful any way he could be to an enthusiast in need. We worked together in designing his Fire Patrol rig for his 101, as I had all kinds of original documents. It was a great hit at the meets!

              Godspeed to you Roger!

Thanks for posting PaulCDF. Roger was one of the early people in the Indian world that befriended me and shared his wisdom after getting into the hobby in 2012. Always enjoyed his company at national road runs and swap meets. A man of great character and very intelligent. The kind of person you want to have as a neighbor. Suddenly, the horn I got from him for the 48 is even more near and dear. RIP Roger.
