Need help with the hardware sequence on a 47 FL. This is with regard to the top case bolt which also attaches a speedo cable clamp, left side and the carb support on the right side.
The speedo clamp is what has me goofed up. The bottom of the clamp which has an 90 bend on bottom which seems to point toward the case, does a nut go behind the speedo cable bracket to make up the space for the 90 bend? If that's the case, does the carb support bracket get placed directly on the case on the right side. The case stud doesn't seem long enough for double nut on both sides.
