  • A Motorcycle Tragedy

Harley Davidson and M.M. Henderson were returning from Yale by way of Minneapolis.

It being a New Era of life for them, one sang selections from Wagner, but the other not being
a Singer, was Reading Standard novels of a De Luxe edition.

They saw an Indian Chief kneeling on a bundle of Excelsior, trying with an Arrow to PIERCE
an Eagle perched on a nearby Hawthorne bush.

"I Thiem," lisped one, but the other replied, "You Cur-tiss not so," as he dealt the red Monarch
a blow like the hammer of Thor. The Pope on his way to Flanders, approached with Reliance and stopped the fight with his Emblem of authority.

Quite witty, and clever, but I can see why the author is unknown Thanks for posting, M.O.

Don't forget Grandpa' ORIENT, and his close friend, HAFELFINGER. They were there first ones to the party.

But little did they know, a huge CYCLONE was about to hit the town, called YALE. To their MARVEL, they SHAW an ARROW that pointed to a sign that said, SEARS ahead. The gang WAVERLEY signaled the new riders, IVER & JOHNSON,

who happened to be FLANDERS around with two blondes in a NERACAR, or was it a HAVERFORE? All of a sudden, the PEERLESS wind PIERCE THIEM, and they FEILBACK.

Low and behold, this was the beginning of a NEW-ERA for the courageous YANKEE riders.
