    Harley plating?

    Does anyone know when Harley transitioned from cadmium plating to zinc? Also, when did Harley stop using parkerizing?

    I having a 53 Servi-car engine rebuilt and would like the correct plating on parts where ever possible.

              Just an observation and not official but I’ve noticed zinc starting to be used in the mid 70s and parkerizing pretty much phased out after 69 except some internal parkerized hardware still being use later.
