sidecar tierod

need to know the hieght to mount lower tie rod brackets on 60 pan .book tells you 10.75 down from bottom of safety bracket.they do not say what should be 10.75 down,the tierod center,top or bottom of tie rod brackets?any info would help.

Hello, I have the same setup a 58FLH. The front (2) lower brackets are 10.75 inches straight down each frame tube to the top of each bracket from the center of each frame tube works well on mine. I'm happy with my sidecar as it takes awhile to get set up so it track perfect for you. Remember that the exhaust pipe must be the predented pipe or the tierod will not fit through as you may know.
