    Yes I saw that was being offered at the Mecum auction. I go almost every year hope many of you also will go. Fantastic event every year, stay at the host facility, The South Point. Top notch place and reasonable cost compared to all others on the strip.

      Go over any of Bud's bikes carefully before bidding. Wanting to get a bike finished Bud used a lot of shortcuts and sometimes parts the were not correct but would work. His fix for Parkerizing parts was to heat them then dip them in varnish.

          Didn't Motorcycle dealers in the teens, 20's & 30's offer an option when purchasing a new motorcycle, where they used a Lacquer Varnish coating over almost the entire motorcycle? It was kinda like a clear coat of modern day?
