Great pictures, and thanks, FNG1 for taking the time, and effort to post those pictures for your fellow AMCA members. It is most gratefully appreciated. I really have grown to like the W, Sport Twins and wish it had been more popular, and plentiful.

Dear All, I'm just back from another great Meet at Wauseon. That 1920 Harley Sport was brought down by Tom Wilcock to show to me, as it is the cover bike on my new vanity project book on the model. Tom cranked it up and stood a nickel on edge on the tank to show an admiring group how smooth it was. Yes, a non-vibrating Harley from a hundred years ago. It also has a circulating oil system 16 years before the knucklehead.

I was running the judging this time, and it was the first time at Wauseon with Saturday judging rather than Sunday, which I'm all in favour of. After the Friday judging seminar we managed to get a row of bikes set up at the front of the judging field, including that Vincent, and it drew passers-by and integrated judging into the show. I would have had outdoor judging on Saturday if it hadn't rained. But we had a big and varied entry of about 40 excellent bikes, with a team of expert judges falling on them so that the judging and awards were over by noon. We had two 100 point bikes where a team of marque specialists could find no faults in 20 minutes - a Harley 165 and the only marque excellence entry, a Harley FLH. There are debates elsewhere on this bulletin board about both 100 point bikes and Marque Excellence, but the new system is shaking down well and I was satisfied with all the awards made. Don't forget it's the Yankee meet at end July, so please participate in the judging to put your knowledge back into our Club, or be an apprentice so you can learn from world class experts.
