    this impacts those who sell parts online, probably as if didn't know anyway, but then there's people like me who sold one time online in excess of $600 will report to irs... like my Dad said in the 1960's, "someday they'll know show many sheets of toilet paper you use..."

      Dad said in the 1960's, "someday they'll know how many sheets of toilet paper you use..."

      We keep down this road and only rich people will have toilet paper.

        Yep I heard about it coming back in early 2022. I had been selling a lot of used car parts online clearing out my inventory. One part could exceed $600. I immediately quit selling on ebay and every other venue requiring Paypal, credit card, or any other form of digital payment. Cash and carry or cash and ship only.
        Old fashioned swap meets took a hit decades ago as internet sales became so common....and understandably so. Large majority of internet sales use some form of digital currency which can be easily tracked.
        Thinking the pendulum may swing back the other way in favor of swap meets in light of this. I hope so because I love swap meets..... sort of like the last frontier these days.
