Hi, I am considering purchasing a motocycle that is out of driving range for me. I am located in Pennsylvania, but the motorcycle is about 1800 miles away. Does anyone know of an affordable shipper? Some of the quotes I am getting are close to 1000 dollars. Thanks.

I think one of the most economical is depot to depot with Forward Air. Click on the motorcycle on the left of the page for details. Of course that's assuming the seller is close to a depot and is willing to work with you to take the bike there. If the bike is in Montana it's quite a hike to the nearest depot. They supply enclosed bike crates. You supply the bike, tie downs and locks. I've never used them but am planning to. So be my guinea pig and let us know how it turns out ... Perry
