Jack Witt -- 1960s Alloy Race Parts???

While reading through AMA magazines from the early 1960s, I kept noticing advertisements for alloy parts ranging from hubs to clutches for sportsters, K models, and some British bikes offered by Jack Witt out of Pasadena, Texas.

Attached is a photo of one of these ads.

Does anyone have information on who Mr. Witt is (or was) and what became of his parts, etc.
