  • Some History of Orange California Motorcycles

In 2017 I was contacted by New Zealander Paree "Paris" Strickland looking for help in tracing down leads for an article he was writing in the New Zealand Indian Club about a hybrid Indian/Crocker bike built by Elmo Looper in 1959. Paris contacts me with his articles periodically and here is one he wrote about some of the Orange County, California Indian Motorcycle history. Thanks to Paris for your contribution to the AMCA Community Forum and your diligence in tracking down information and images and then compiling the article.

Don't we all have some thought in our mind that we could someday stumble on a lost gem in some box, in some garage attic like this. But sadly people often have little patience when they suddenly become custodians of 20 boxes of paper. Here is a thought from the article that I wanted to bring out.

That would be a pretty cool find.
