I just want to thank all the fine folks who helped put together another great meet at Davenport. My father and I have been attending for several years and it is quite a tradition for us to show up and shop all day at the swap meet. My Dad is getting on in years and this is the way we spend quality time (including the drive). The weather was great and the number of cool bikes was outstanding. I had the typical Davenport Chief Blackhawk overload. My head was spinning with project ideas and I was overdosing on old parts. I decided to buy parts for my Panhead and save my money for a nearly complete project bike next year.

Anyone know who owns that cool old ratty Black VL with all of the old stickers (one said "turn the gas off dummy"). It was for sale for $8K OBO up at the show barn area. I was interested in that bike but didn't have enough cash with me.
