  • Johnnie Burgin Knucklehead collection at Mecum Auction April 28, 2021 Wow!!

About 30 years ago I went up to Tacoma, Washington to see the Johnnie Burgin Knucklehead collection and what a sight to see. Now it is up for sale at the Mecum Auction April 28-May1 in Vegas. Selling at NO reserve!! That was the most beautiful thing to see, all of them in one room lined up. He had one for every year made!! Now to see them available is amazing. A must see again for me and maybe bid a little.

Thanks for the links guys. I also should correct the location of where I saw the Burgin Museum, it was Spanaway Washington. My brain just did a reboot, it's just down the highway a bit from Tacoma.

The last time I was there Johnny was still working in his shop. He was restoring another '36EL at that time. He was working on building his second set of Knuckleheads.
