35 harley history

I have a 35 harley which I know came out of Georgia maybe 30 years ago and was wandering if anyone knew how I could find out the history of this bike. Maybe who owned it or what shop sold it. I e-mailed the GA DMV and they just said to look at carfax.com which is no help. Any Ideas

You might see if the Georgia state historical society has older vehicle registrations. It's possible they went there when discarded by DMV. It's also possible the DMV still has the registrations and just blew you off. It might pay to investigate the Georgia DMV further just in case old records still exist.
