Model K, 2 stroke Indian. I think it is either 1915 or 1916 but some Indian specialist will put us right.

Bidding is only at around $72 bucks! Reserve price, however, is probably ten grand!
There was a flurry of interest in 2-strokes in the teens and how they were going to be the next BIG thing. The Schickel comes to mind foremost and it was sold for a couple/few years I think.
A few years ago there was a real nice Schickel at a swapmeet and it was sleek looking job. Looked like a bigger bike than it really was displacement wise.
In the teens there was also the Elmore car that was a 2-stroke, which again, was promoted as being a terrific technological breakthru due to no valves, lifters, cams, etc.
I wonder what it sounded like???

How can you forget the Scott Flying Squirrel? A two stroke, water-cooled twin, it was made for about 20 years or so.
