  • Harley XR 750 registry ?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a Harley XR 750 registry in existence? With all the hard and long racing I wonder how many are left from original factory run from1980 down.

**MR. XR750 set-up every year at Wauseon for a long time. I could never catch him at his Rig to bS with him, but he had a Helluva XR Collection.

Thanks JoJo, guess I'll have to get on Facebook one of these days. Went to Wasseon for the first time a couple years ago and saw Mr XR 750 display, just amazing. I always wanted an XR and finally picked one up last month. Have a few friends that raced them and they were it to me. I use to help push start my friends a few times at the races. Seems there should be a place to list all the engine numbers of surviving factory XR 750 bikes.

Had an opportunity to pick-up Kevin Atherton's XR a couple years back. A friend i raced with bought it from Tom Cummings when all of those guys were with the Benson Ford Jr.'s Total Control Racing Team (TCR). I passed because of the year of that motor, which i can't recall, but the bearings were SUpER Expensive if a rebuild was ever performed. Rode some friends XR's over the years--they are Torque Beast's, and a GAS and a 1/2 to ride. Enjoy & have fun with your XR KNUCK.
fullsizeoutput_c7f.jpg >>>MR. XR? I'm pretty sure that Land Yacht at Wauseon had Ohio Plates. I remember seeing this ad on & off in Buzz Walneck's Rag over the years. The ad is from May 1995. I wonder if that phone # is any good? If anyone would know of an XR registry, that guy would.

Well after all this time, ya' still learn something new. Always wondered who owned all those XR's. Mystery solved--Thanks Badger34.
And, he must be MR.XR that parks his BIG XR Rig at Wauseon i take it. Haven't seen that line-up lately at Wauseon tho'.

In conclusion, i would have to say that it would easier to be a TT Man, than it would to be an XR Guy.
