Help to ID this nut

I have this nut in a pile of parts that I am trying to identify.
It is 2.295" OD of the threads, 1,459" ID and with a 1.825" nut.
Could be Excelsior.

At first glance it looks like a Harley K model/Sportster swing arm bearing retaining nut.

Somebody else also suggested that. It has also been suggested it is an Excelsior valve tower nut. None the wiser yet.

I think Robbie nailed it. The '55-'65 Sportster/KH parts books notes 47515-52 lock nut, bearing, right. See #11 in attached.
