T'was the day before April 16 when...

...it was 51 degrees and sunny. we got 16 inches of snow in about 14 hours, tonight 14 degreesand 45 degrees and sunny tomorrow. Next week mid-upper 60's with one 70 degree day.

That storm was predicted here but it went North and South of us, all it did here was freeze all the fruit trees...

killing fruit blossoms is more than enough damage, Robbie. Trees here JUST starting to bud out, otherwise we'd have lots of broken limbs. all this snow will be gone a week from now, hopefully no flooding, with the rocky soil here, it doesn't take a much water to have flooding. this latest snow will definitely add to this season's snow pack.

We are also unseasonably cold for my neck of the woods. We actually had frost overnight! This is not good for the garden and the plants.

Wet snow is the worst. Downed trees and power lines and moving it is terrible. If it is too wet the snow blower almost doesn't work, and shoveling it is just asking to hurt your back. Being that i am working from home, I think I would just let it melt. Good luck.

And here in south Florida we have record highs in the mid 90s. Go figure.
