After you get your float adjusted properly, what are y'all using to seal the screw that holds the float to the brass lever so it doesn't move. I am using Cotton's floats in both a Linkert and a Schebler.
    Thanks!

My 'secret sauce' is probably now 'unobtainium', Bob!

Since modern fuel ain't the alien-spit it was, folks are using "Seal-All". or "JBWeld", well, well-cured.

Please note we are not "locking the screw", Folks. If the screw is tight upon the pivotnut shank, there is little to make it come loose.
The float itself, however, is a different matter.
My presumption from observations of original Linkert goobers, it was to lock the float to the lever.

    And t'aint easy neither.

Even with my fuel-proof isocyanate, a Cannonball veteran is on my bench with no running complaints (only for inspection), but in spite of my three combined approaches to retain it, the float was loose.

Hope putting a 'mil profile' on the lever helps adhesion...
