I think many people have been seduced by the concept of a powered monowheel, but it's an inherently stupid idea.

Saw one of those Uno wheels in a local parade one time, powered by a small Honda 2 cylinder, rider doing figure 8's Crazy !

Shop I used to work at did some of the work for Ben Gulak who did the Uno that got a big award on Dragons Den (I think the largest award I know of) It was a pretty rock solid machine, but more like a motorcycle shaped Segway. Rather than
