AMCA WILD ROSE CHAPTER MEMBERS AND GUESTS

    Dear Friends,
The board of directors of the newly formed AMCA chapter "Wild Rose Chapter" in Alberta, would like to invite AMCA members, chapter members, and anyone else interested in old motorcycles, to attend our first general meeting at the Reynolds Alberta Museum, Wetaskwin Alberta, Feb 05, 2006, at 1pm.

There will be no charge for admission into the museum if you let them know you are attending the AMCA Wild Rose Chapter meeting. The meeting will run from 1pm to 4pm, after that you may tour the museum and see the great motorcycle display until closing at 5pm. We will be discussing the future plans of the chapter and would really like everyone to be involved. Some of the topics are; meeting frequency, logo design, road runs, web site, fund-raising.
Our purpose is the preservation, restoring and operation of antique motorcycles, and by participating in this organization we can help each other reach our goals.

    Date: Sunday, February 05 2006
    Time: 1pm- 4pm. Please
Place: Reynolds Alberta Museum, Wetaskwin Alberta. (Boardroom)

    Sincerely,
Earl Repas, Wild Rose Chapter president

    Hello Everyone,

Our Wild Rose Chapter Meeting went off as planned on Feb. 5 with 25 members present! We had a fantastic meeting and covered a lot of ground. We have a very diverse, energetic group to be sure. One overall theme came out of the meeting and that was that the Wild Rose Chapter wants to be known as a RIDING Chapter.

With that, our first road run will be held on May 7th. We are still working out details but you will be notified as to where it is as details become available.

Attached are a couple of pictures. Take a look at the group! Of special note is that Mike Greshner a.k.a. ìSpikeî, as our first Honorary Member to the Chapter. Spike was instrumental in getting the ducks in a row for our Chapter to have any hope of getting off the ground. Thanks Spike.

Also, thanks to our Feb. 5 meeting sponsors, John Oland of Motorparts Inc. and John Ferguson of Precision Cycle for their generous contributions to the event. Thanks to Reynolds-Alberta Museum for the incredible ambience!!

    All for now,

    Bill Hoar
