Linkert Carbs

I am bringing back to life a 1938 Indian that has an original carb (DLX 108) that needs rebuilt. I am considering having it rebuilt and putting on the shelf and running a Linkert since I like to ride my bikes and the ease of finding parts and rebuildling in the future is much easier. It looks like a M51 would work nicely. Any suggestions or comments appreciated along with a contact for a rebuilt M51.
