    Hinged generator strap

When was the generator strap with the integral hing used? I have a couple of them but cannot find it referred to anywhere. Perhaps I just overlooked it.
    Anyone know?
    Thanks

Here's a picture from the 1942 XA Operation and Maintenance Manual showing the battery strap.

Sorry about the delay. Just got around to getting pics of this thing. I have two of these and they are the same. Got them from different locations, so probably not a homemade one off.
Any help to ID what it's correct for would be greatly appreciated.

Mark, the radius does look a bit big for a generator. Could it be part of a Pest O lite, or aftermarket acetylene tank strap?

So here it is. Anyone know how many years this -32 part ran for?

Wow Mark you hit a home run. You not only figured out what you have but you got a part # and also how much at least one guy is welling to give for it! Sorry but I do not know how far up this fits but a look in to a parts book might give you the number that succeeded it.

That part number is not in my 1935 or 1939 spare parts catalogs. Just the 1528- 30. Maybe for a race bike ?

It isn't in the '33 or '34 catalogs, they list the -30 part number for "All Twins".

You guys probably already have this but my 26-39 catalog has a 1528-36 for 36-39 61" twins.
My 28-32 catalog has the 1528-32 in it. For 1932 45" twins, and looks like it is hinged as per the photo.
