Long Range Wauseon Weather Report.

Good Evening, just looked up the weather forecast for Wauseon--Friday, Saturday & Sunday. It doesn't look good. But, last year was the same forecast, and the 3 day rain forecast skipped 95% of the event. Not as brutal as last year, temperatures are supposed to be in the low 80's. Keep your fingers crossed!

The George Roeder Racing crew will use every trick in the bag to complete the overall races. The 1/2 mile course is pea-gravel/clay base-and holds a lot of water. If not, Saturday(21st) is a scheduled rain date. Keep your legs crossed!

If it is just a little rain, then yes they will probably race but 2 years ago they only got in half the program before rain came and they called the races. They said they had run enough races to award the points based on the rules. Certain number of qualifying races need to be run in order to say the event counted under the rules. Lot of folks were pissed as it cleared up later that night but they were trying to protect the racers from any potential crashes. Based on the forecast I have seen so far I would say it is 50/50 at best but lets hope that changes!

I hope everyone that goes to Wauseon has a great time, and the weather cooperates. Funny how when me, and my Florida pals go to Wauseon, or Davenport, it's hotter there than Florida But, who cares; always great people, and the best bikes, and parts in the world.

where would you have the High Plains National Meet at Len?

I think Len is referring to the old meets held in Canon City.This topic came up a couple of years ago, and it seemed like the powers that be were interested in supporting a National Meet in CO. I would help with judging if we can get something together, or at least start working on getting something together.
