What is the history of the "fox" emblems.

What years where there FOX emblems ( the scribed name on back of some emblems) relevant. Can they be OEM if they re not scribe with the fox co. ? None of my AMF emblems have it.

I know you will find 'Fox Cinn' on '47-'50 speedball emblems. I have never seen that on any emblems after that. I just noticed on my 1951 emblems that there is a part # on the inside of the 'N' - 7480, or 7488, hard to tell. There was a very nice reproduction of the Fox Speedball emblems made not that long ago. I don't know who made them, but on the outside, they are quite accurate.

My original 1965 emblems have the FOX logo on the left side, but not on the right.

Any Idea on when they started and when it ended. That is odd that they would only do one side and not the other.. This is very interesting stuff.. Thank you

I would be curious as well. Fox emblems were beautiful examples of the Tool & Die maker's art.
