    Place a want ad for a project bike. I received this email today;

    --
    Yes. I have these parts and could check for other parts if you make a
    list to jh8246907@gmail.com

    A working phone number will be great too.

    I craft a long email with the parts I need for my project and I receive this in return along with a bunch of Junior Scout pictures lifted from a forum;

    Hi Chad,

    Thanks for writing. Great! I am presently wrecking my 1940 Indian Scout project bike with all of the original parts listed available in excellent shape and condition, ready to mount on. I'm asking $1000 and happy to arrange delivery via USPS or FedEx ground to your door step and would acknowledge a bank wire payment. What's your complete shipping address?

    Many thanks again and regards,

    John

    So, you only want $1000 wired to you? $1000 for all of "those parts?" You are "wrecking" your 1940 Scout? You got that word wrong in translation.

    Yep definitely looks suspicious to me....The bank wire transfer part of the transaction always puts me on edge.

      These Jokers list these ads in numerous States, hoping to get a sucker on the line. These 3. ads have been up for a couple of months currently--I 'RED FLAG' them every chance i get!!! By the way, the Knuckle & Servi M/C's legitimately sold on eBay.

        The easiest way to handle these a-holes is to ask them when you can stop by and take a look! That's when they disappear.
