Howdy, kicking around a slight bump in reliable decent performance for my 1923 JD. Any suggestions in regard to camshafts? I remember Mark Masa had a batch, but i recollect they were NOS replacement. Also, i think Mike Vils & Leineweber did some custom cams also. Appreciate any input & Thank You.

Well, they are not NOS OEM cams but I make them to a stock grind. I used an NOS cam as the pattern.
My understanding is that the Leineweber cam has a slightly higher lift and requires the removal of some material on the case so that it doesn't hit. I'm not sure if they are only for use in a hot motor or for just adding a little extra umph! to a standard road bike.

I run a Mike Vils cam in my 28 JD. Can't seem to notice a power increase really. But it does install and run well.
