  • AMCA: 50 Years of Fun,book

Happy days are here again. I finally had my book delivered today by the postman. I must say, it is a very nice book with great pictures of some great bikes and their owners. There are a few mistakes with some of the photos and their captions, but overall it is a beautiful book. I have to admit now I wish I had sent in some photos, but never the less I enjoyed looking at everyone else.

Got my book today, I too wish I would have sent pictures in. Not much history of the club though, just a picture book of current members. They couldn't have spent much time researching the club. It is disappointing in that respect. I thought it would be taken from 50 years of club magazine, meets, and road runs. I personnally think it was a rip for $63. At least my name is on the front, that and $4 will get you a grande cup of coffee..............

AMCA History book from Turner Publishing

I have to agree with Louie concerning the AMCA book
          that arrived today.

It took almost a year for the book to be finished and
          for the $60+ dollars, it's a disappointment.

I enjoy the pictures of the bikes, but we could have
gotten the same quality of pictures right here on the
AMCA website for free. It's obvious that the guys
took their own pictures and sent them in, using
          many different grades of cameras.

Louie describes the book as, " . . . just a picture book
of current members." He is absolutely right.
