The Modern Classics is Martin Moto's widely acclaimed annual tribute to the great motorcycles of the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Now in its eighth year, The Modern Classics is a 100-bike, all-brands, invite-only show staged indoors in the spacious Martin Moto showroom in Boyertown, Pa. Each show features a fresh assortment of machines from those eras.
For 2018, in addition to the many standard classics in the mix, The Modern Classics will step outside the late 20th century time frame to present a sampling of significant motorcycles from each decade of the two wheeled sport's history beginning in the early 1900s. We'll present a fantastic mix of our usual '60s through '90s Modern Classics as well as a sampling of earlier machines that helped define the style, technology and art of motorcycling.
Literally a "museum for a day," The Modern Classics begins with Friday, March 2nd's "Kickstart" Party featuring music, from 7PM - 10PM, featuring performing artists, refreshments, and the chance to stroll the show floor amid a party atmosphere. Saturday follows with a day-long opportunity to revisit a unique collection of bikes that perhaps framed your entrance into motorcycling, from 9AM - 5PM. Tickets are $10 at the door. Think of that — just ten cents per motorcycle to see an assembly of motorcycles that will rival most museums you could travel to.
