    siren help

hi - posting for someone else. he has a sterling siren type 34R. looking thorough the palmer book i don't see any type 34 or 34R listed. what does this look like to you guys - front or rear? is that a pedal or a hand lever to activate it? and the bracket that is attached to the lever doesn't look like or read like anything detailed in the book. i don't believe he has any type of cover for it

Definitely rear mount, foot pedal operated.

When I was trying to piece together a siren kit, I'm pretty sure Michael Breeding mentioned a 34R would work, for my 48 Chief. He has kits and parts, for Indian, here:

I'm sure he'd be able to clear things up, for you.

    Hope this helps,
    Bob

I'm guessing it's for a 1934-36 VL. Confirm rear left mount and pedal operated.
