    hi - posting for someone else. he has a sterling siren type 34R. looking thorough the palmer book i don't see any type 34 or 34R listed. what does this look like to you guys - front or rear? is that a pedal or a hand lever to activate it? and the bracket that is attached to the lever doesn't look like or read like anything detailed in the book. i don't believe he has any type of cover for it

    Definitely rear mount, foot pedal operated.

    When I was trying to piece together a siren kit, I'm pretty sure Michael Breeding mentioned a 34R would work, for my 48 Chief. He has kits and parts, for Indian, here:

    I'm sure he'd be able to clear things up, for you.

        I'm guessing it's for a 1934-36 VL. Confirm rear left mount and pedal operated.

            does that bracket on the foot pedal look familiar to anyone? how would you mount it? over the primary cover?

              Yes With the Case bolts, thats how my 45 police is mounted
