    I recently came upon some motorcycle receipt paperwork from different businesses (1950's). I thought I'd share the name/addresses for those who have an interest in these types of things.
    1. Carter Indian Sales & Service, RR1, Fairmount, Ind. Phone: "RED 17-W". This is the shop that James Dean hung-out at. It is a couple miles north of Fairmount. The building is still there and they have recently re-furbished the outdoor sign.
    2. Phillips Motors, 2311 Broadway, Anderson, Ind. Phone: "8090". This shop sold Harley-Davidson, Crosley Cars and Mercury Outboard Motors.
    3. Indiana Cycle Sales, 928 Massachusetts Ave., Indianapolis, Ind. Phone: "MElrose 1-9344". This shop sold Indian, Triumph and Zundapp.
    4. Florida Cycle Supply Wholesale, 1049 Kings Ave., Jacksonville, Fla. Phone: "9-0129". Distributor of B.S.A., Ariel, Sunbeam Motorcycles.
    5. Beck Distributing Corp., 68-70-72 E. 131st St., New York, N.Y. Phone: "AUdubon 3-5650". Manufacturers and Distributors of Motorcycle Accessories.
    6. Dixie Distributing Co., 2800 Westerville Road, Columbus, Ohio. Phone: "LA 1856".
    7. BSA Incorporated., 639 Passaic Ave., Nutley, New Jersey. Phone: "NUtley 2-5600". B.S.A. and Ariel Motorcycles.
    8. Motorcycles Inc., 1214 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, Ill. Phone: "HAymarket 1-2316. Distributor: Indian Motorcycles, Parts, and Accessories.
