I will be discussing the tandem seats which surprisingly were offered well into the 1950's.

Great !! I would also like to learn more about the different weight class seat post assemblies and the different seat post rod lengths, especially for the 45" models. Paps

I have been doing research on the 1929-1933 Mesinger saddles and the pre-war Harley-Davidson saddles, and seem to have some conflicting information from reliable sources. Is it possible to e-mail me direct to discuss?
I also have assembly diagrams for the Mesinger saddle you may be interested in seeing.

Johnny--I have official information from the HD archives going back to 1914--send me an e-mail jester@worshamcastle.com and perhaps we can set up a phone call.

Paps--I only have an hour to do this seminar and it is an overview so I will not be able to get a lot of info in about the specifics of the seat post assemblies, but I will discuss the adjustable weight models that were offered by HD. For the real specific info, I am afraid you will have to wait for my book to be published ( hopefully sometime in early 2006) By the way, the publisher wants to know how many copies I can expect to sell--can I get some votes?
