Title Question

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I bought what I believe to be a 1926 BA. Does anyone have a reference to the fact that HD didn't put the year # first on the VIN in 1926? I'm going to attempt to get a title and was looking for some form of documentation to prove this? I was told this tid-bit by the folks at Harbor Vintage. Any input is appreciated.

Got a title....no prob! Hope I titled it right. Is there a following for singles? This BA has a mag and homemade? tin. I bought it for the speedo ( 100MPH Corbin). This is an interesting MC in that it looks professionaly modified to be a racer. If anyone is into BA's or singles and can help me with the ID, lket me know & I'll send you detailed pics.
