If I remember right, the silver king was imported in parts from England and then assembled by Hendee as the silver king. The silver king was called the centaurion in England. Later bicycle production ( under the indian name) up until the mid twenties (?) was manufactured by Westfield. In the thirties, there was a German import under the indian name ( I can't remember the name). And then finally, in the late forties it was back to a English manufacturer again. The Davis sewing machine company made Harley bicycles in the teens. I'm not a bicycle guy, so some of this information might not be correct.
